There is only one con to this as I can see.
Say you have five friends who join hipchat, thinking they have to go to hipchat.com to sign up there.
Then they try to join your hipchat. This won't work and they either need to: 1. delete their current account and be added to your hipchat or two: use a different email to sign up or in to your hipchat. and vice versus if they have a hipchat and you want to join their hipchat as well.
Technically, also friends can make their own chat rooms on your hipchat, you can have multiple rooms, with no end in sight lol and have video and voice in all of them, in group and in 1 to 1 also. I also plan to open this feature up again currently members or team can not use this on my hc. But when I upgrade to the $2 a month plan I will allow people on my team to create their own rooms too if they like.
