Secondary Site Layout option

Say you have a social site and you want a black theme as the main, well say other people like a more neutral layout of white or tan or whatever you or they design. You can provide a switch to change from dark to light layout, even adjust the font size.

You can set it or they can change the template colors to their liking, and you can even add a switch to let them adjust or create their own template design on the front.

I agree with this. A lot Day/Night theme switch for themes would be ideal. I'm always very hesitant to use a dark theme on a site, as it seems to turn away older audiences. But a lot of people love having the eye-friendliness of a dark theme. For me, I like switching between Day/Night themes depending upon time of day.

Another thought would be to give a schedule, where the admin can set a schedule for when Night mode goes into action. But it would need to know the local user's timezone.

@NathanWeaver  Yep to the above and all of it. People could toggle a day/night or more neutral theme.

Or someone could make a dark theme through userstyles.org for socialbuddy.io, they have global styles but that is about it.
